LOCAL PRACTICE

A Plano firm, by choice

Plano is a city of builders. Corporate campuses on the north end, family-owned shops along the older avenues, and a steady stream of people arriving with a business idea and a mortgage application in the same month. The financial questions here are rarely simple ones.

We built our practice around that. A Plano dental practice restructuring its entity, a family weighing a Frisco relocation, a nonprofit on Legacy Drive that needs its books audit-ready, all of it lands on the same desk, and all of it gets the same year-round attention.

Being local means you can sit across a table from the person who prepares your return. Most clients still choose video for routine check-ins, and that is fine. The door is open either way.

PLANO QUESTIONS

Asked by our neighbors

Where exactly is your Plano office?

At 8105 Rasor Blvd, just east of the Dallas North Tollway near the Legacy corridor. Parking is on site and free. Meetings are by appointment so there is never a waiting room.

Do I have to come in, or can everything be handled remotely?

Entirely your call. Some clients come in once a year to sign and prefer video for everything else; some never come in at all. The work and the pricing are identical either way.

Do you handle Texas franchise tax and local filings?

Yes. Texas has no personal income tax, but businesses still face franchise tax reports, and Collin County property and sales-tax obligations catch people out. We handle those alongside your federal return.

We are relocating to Plano from another state. Can you help with the transition?

That is one of the more common reasons people call us. Moving here usually changes your state tax picture, your withholding, and sometimes your entity structure. We map all three before you file.

Do you work with Plano churches and nonprofits?

We do, including clergy housing allowances, designated-giving questions, and getting books to a state where an audit or a Form 990 is straightforward rather than stressful.
